‘Funsie in a Onesie’

Bangor Academy’s Sixth Formers have raised £770 to support kids in Northern Ireland with cancer.

Never shy of dressing up, or finding an excuse to ditch the uniform for a good cause, they all sported their snazziest slippers and their most eye-catching onesies for the drive to raise money for Cash for Kids supporting Cancer Fund for Children.

Every week three families in Northern Ireland are told their child has cancer and our pupils were inspired by Cool FM’s campaign to raise money for local charities to support these families ensuring no family faces cancer alone. Thanks to everyone who had ‘funsie in a onesie’ and to all those who sponsored Year 13 and 14 or added cash to their buckets.
