Budding Engineers face the Faraday Challenge

Budding Engineers face the Faraday ChallengeYear 9 pupils with an eye on engineering as a possible future career explored practical design and problem solving at Queen’s University in the Faraday Challenge.

They had to present their prototype safety mechanism for the James Webb Space Telescope – a real NASA project which will ultimately replace the Hubble Telescope. It was a brilliant experience to work as a team to explore solutions to a real engineering problem.
